SCORE workshops have lesson plans which were written by SCORE counselors and the workshops are taught by SCORE counselors who have many years of business experience. Class participation is encouraged in all workshops so that individual issues can be discussed and resolved. We strongly recommend that attendance at the workshops be supplemented by free counseling sessions with one or more of the 22 counselors in the local SCORE Chapter. SCORE Workshops 201, 202, 203 and 204 have an integrated design so that the complete package provides the small business owner with all the necessary essentials from starting the business to writing an effective business plan. Throughout the year, the four workshops are scheduled in progression and by enrolling in the complete package and making the complete payment at the initial workshop, a discount of 20% is granted. A binder with the lesson plans for all four workshops is given to the attendee at the time of payment. If payment for four workshops is made but a workshop is missed, it is possible to attend this workshop on the next scheduled date without penalty. This will usually occur approximately 45 days after the missed date. For those clients who are not interested in the workshop package, it is possible to enroll in individual workshops. A business partner of a paid client may attend workshops without charge but only one set of handouts will be provided.

Fees:
Each 200 series workshop =$25
Package of four workshops 201, 202, 203, 204 = $80
